Melchior is an EU funded Innovation Action project which aims to improve, mature and demonstrate the novel infrasound interrogation Z-MESMERISE technology in operational environments including border controls in airports and sea-ports and land borders as well as other environments where the technology would be quite useful like crowded events and prisons.

MICAM are proud to be a partner in such an innovative R&D project and to work alongside such esteemed colleagues in  a multi-disciplinary, cross border collaboration involving 15 organisations from 9 countries.

 MICAM have over 20 years of experience in blast mitigation projects and were chosen to design, manufacture and install a cabin (containing the sensor elements ) capable of containing an internal  blast and  withstanding  an external charge without adding to its lethality.
